01、“国歌”不是national song
national song 是指“可以激起爱国情怀”的歌曲
比如《我爱我的祖国》、《歌唱祖国》等
另外，虽然country = 国家；song = 歌曲
但是 country song 不是国歌
country song 指的是 “乡村歌曲”
国歌的正确翻译是：
national anthem
anthem [ˈænθəm] 国歌；赞歌
来看剑桥词典的解释：
例：
All those present were standing solemnly ['sɒləmli] when the national anthem was played.
奏国歌时全场肃立。
And then the orchestra [ˈɔːkɪstrə] struck up the national anthem.
然后管弦乐队奏起了国歌。
02、“国旗”的英文怎么说？
国旗的英文表达：
① the national flag
② the flag of China
但是, “五星红旗”可不是five-star red flag
five-star 意思是：五星级的
来看剑桥词典解释：
比如词典里举例的
a five-star hotel 五星级酒店
而“五星红旗” 指的是由五颗星星装饰的红旗
需要用 starred 用星装饰的
五星红旗 = the Five-starred Red Flag
例：
They raised a national flag.
他们升起了一面国旗。
03“祖国”的英文怎么说？
“祖国”的英文表达可以用

motherland
或者

homeland
例：
Never forget our duty to our motherland.
牢记我们对祖国应尽的义务。
They are planning to return to their homeland.

04我爱中国
“我爱中国”可以说
I love China.
T恤上常见的爱心印花，口语里可以直接读作“I heart…”
I heart China. 我爱中国
“爱国”有一个专用的单词：
patriotic [ˌpætriˈɒtɪk] 爱国的
patriotic fervor 爱国热情
patriot [ˈpætriət] 爱国者
例：
They are patriotic guys who are willing to give everything for their country.
他们非常爱国，愿为国家奉献一切。
